An Update Of Sorts
A life update, since we last spoke, of things both good and bad.
* My commute continues to suck.
* I’ve caught a cold every 2-4 weeks for 1-2 weeks each time. No health insurance to look into my failing immune system or anything else from my myriad of physical problems.
* I started my own web design company, making what I have been doing for years more official and it’s going way too well (I have no time between my full time job and clients).
* I wrote and drew a 10 page comic for the small press Pink Narcissus. They’re still accepting submissions to fill up their queer volume so if you’re a writer and interested (I know lots of my fans are wonderful writers!) check out their submissions page. (If you’re an artist they accept illustrations and I don’t think they’ve ever accepted a comic until now but you can try.)
* In a few weeks I have to travel to my mother’s house and help her pack up her entire life to move cross country, go through storage, and fix up/clean a broken house. Before I go I have to pack my own life into boxes just in case there is no apartment here when I return in 1-2 months.
Now 2R related things…
Because the first print run went horribly I’ve switched printers. This unfortunately means dimensions of the books have become larger. This sucks a lot for people who already bought volume 1 and are interested in purchasing future books if you’re anal like me and want them all to match but there’s nothing I can do about it. All I can really say is if you have an old copy: congratulations it’s the first edition and will never be printed again :D? I’ve hired someone to edit volume 1′s panels to fix the dimension problems for the new size and volume 2 was corrected halfway through. I’ve also slightly edited book one’s cover.
Obviously the most important thing is drawing new art right now. I’m going to set a personal deadline to get this chapter done and even though this trip coming up is going to be exhausting I should have enough spare time to get things done (unless I get sick again!). After that’s done I’ll work on editing and proofreading the old pages for print which has already begun. I’m hoping to print both during the fall or winter.
As for book three, it will be the last. It will also be drawn differently (faster, looser and better for its content matter). I haven’t even finished rewriting the damn thing which was one reason for this hiatus when I had NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN ANYMORE but now I do.
So I’m still here and things are slowly happening, even if you can’t see them yet!

I just discovered two rooks, and tore through the archives. Amazingly well done! I can’t wait for more! But I hope you find a way to improve your health first. I know what it feels like to be constantly sick, and I wish you the best of luck in the future~ :)
