SOLD OUT

I wish I could catch up but life just keeps kicking my ass. Luckily I have the best fans ever to pick me back up - all copies of volume one are SOLD OUT! Thank you so much!! I have sent off the last one. I printed way more than I initially intended because of the countless defects but I sold every last one of them and don’t even have my own copy anymore (oops).

I LOVE YOU GUYS. This is just a stupid hobby, something I do for fun. I don’t really promote it and never tried to capitalize on it. Even the ad space barely covers hosting costs. This small print run was for you since you said you wanted it and I put down a big chunk of money to make it happen without any pre-order gimmicks. It humbles me greatly that you helped me beyond breaking even and something I made is on every fucking continent right now. I didn’t expect I’d attract such diverse and amazing fans when I wrote this. However, I’m also a much different person than I was when I was sixteen. Though I try to update the script to suit me as time progresses I’m itching to move on to newer and bigger things. I’ve learned a lot about my creative process and would like to apply it to something I can really be proud of.

BUT not before I finish of course! While I may be sold out of batch one, batch two will come alongside volume two when it’s ready - which should be in a few months (aiming to have everything edited and formatted in time for the holidays but who knows). We’re past the halfway mark of the full story but there’s a lot left to go. I’m endlessly sorry for all the wait and I appreciate anyone who is still sticking around.

I want to do something as a thank you but I’m not sure what. Finishing all of those AACs? A wallpaper? Fanservice? A FANSERVICE WALLPAPER IDK let me know what you want!

I will NOT be there, but…Nena will! And she’ll be selling 2R books. They’re pre-signed and awaiting homes, so if you’re in the area or planning to go look for Heard’s table in artist’s alley even if it’s just to say hi to a classy lady!

Vote incentives are back by popular demand. They’ll feature AAC answers from now on, but old ones will still get added to the Extra page.

Defect Books (update)

I am so immensely sorry some of the bindings on the books were shoddy. I’ve checked my remaining copies and two out of five books had pages that came right out. My printer has informed me they’ve completely updated their binding system and future books should not have this problem.

If you have a damaged book please respond to this post or e-mail me (if you haven’t already told me). I’m working out what best to do but I need a full death toll first.

[update] You must tell me your book is damaged by June 1st. If you haven’t told me by then I won’t be able to do anything to help you since I will have already ordered replacements.

As far as reimbursement, I’m offering two options: a new copy or a free commission. I’m offering art requests for two reasons: 1.) if I pay for everyone’s replacement shipping and envelopes I’m going to run out of the little money I’ve made from this and 2.) I won’t be drawing another sketch in your new book if you bought one (though I guess if you want to pay for shipping I can do that). You don’t have to decide which you want (if any) right now, I’ll probably contact you all individually when the time comes…but you have to let me know if you’ve got a bad book, so double check!

[update 2] My non-defect books are officially sold out despite everything! Thank you!! I will reopen the store when all of this nonsense is over.

[edit] I pulled two all-nighters back to back to get them out today. USPS raised their prices literally the moment I was paying yesterday which means I undercharged almost everyone on shipping. I’ve raised the store’s prices to reflect the changes, so all future orders will be charged properly. I also didn’t know USPS rounded their fucking fractions up which pushes me out of First-Class for domestic. Great. But whatever, everything is on its way! Think of it as a pre-order discount I guess. I have made so many mistakes throughout this adventure that I’m just going to call it a learning process and be thankful that I’m not making negative money.

There are still a few books left from this run so any purchases made from here on out shouldn’t have a crazy backorder to deal with. I’ll try to keep stocked up but you never know. Thank you everyone!
