Not Worth The Wait

I’ve been working overtime at my shitty job for a few weeks now. What little free time I have I usually spend sleeping because I’m too exhausted to do anything else. If my hours go back down I’m not going to take them for granted (not that I did then, I just slept even more) and really fucking finish this fucking thing fuck fuck fuck.

1 page a month, I AM DOING GREAT.

Hm

So in the four weeks since I last posted my second cat died, my computer BSODed, I recovered most of it but lost a really important painting’s original PSD file and I almost (almost) quit my job after a meltdown. I’m also, of course, sick again. I feel a lot like Serus right now but I am not even close to being as cool as him so it’s just depressing.

I can’t wait to go over these terrible fucking pages when my life isn’t in shambles and redo them. _{i guess it’s hilariously bad though, lololol @ serus’ fat face.}

Cursed

My new cat Woody, the cat I adopted a couple of months ago after my late Inyx, has cancer. He’s only a year old, I thought I caught it really early, but he only has a month or two to live. Going to try to make them the most comfortable they can be since I’m not putting him through the torture of chemo. The doctor said this is really unusual.

Yeah, so, I’m probably not drawing anything for a while.

Has it seriously almost been three weeks? All that wait and you get talking heads. GOD I suck but I guess I’ve apologized enough. My hours changed at work and I have no less than 100 things going on right now, 2R is not really at the top of that list. I’m going to try to change that for a countless time, though. I obviously need a real update schedule so I can set some deadlines. I’m thinking Wednesdays or late Tuesdays. Until then I will keep a hold of any pages I have and actually update on a Monday or Friday just to stop jerking you around (except for today!).

IF I UPDATE AT ALL LOLOLOL. God damn it! GOD DAMN IT STOP TALKING AND START HITTING THINGS, SERUS. KJANFKJANFkj

In other news, I am still on track for getting sick every single month this year. Score!

SOLD OUT

I wish I could catch up but life just keeps kicking my ass. Luckily I have the best fans ever to pick me back up - all copies of volume one are SOLD OUT! Thank you so much!! I have sent off the last one. I printed way more than I initially intended because of the countless defects but I sold every last one of them and don’t even have my own copy anymore (oops).

I LOVE YOU GUYS. This is just a stupid hobby, something I do for fun. I don’t really promote it and never tried to capitalize on it. Even the ad space barely covers hosting costs. This small print run was for you since you said you wanted it and I put down a big chunk of money to make it happen without any pre-order gimmicks. It humbles me greatly that you helped me beyond breaking even and something I made is on every fucking continent right now. I didn’t expect I’d attract such diverse and amazing fans when I wrote this. However, I’m also a much different person than I was when I was sixteen. Though I try to update the script to suit me as time progresses I’m itching to move on to newer and bigger things. I’ve learned a lot about my creative process and would like to apply it to something I can really be proud of.

BUT not before I finish of course! While I may be sold out of batch one, batch two will come alongside volume two when it’s ready - which should be in a few months (aiming to have everything edited and formatted in time for the holidays but who knows). We’re past the halfway mark of the full story but there’s a lot left to go. I’m endlessly sorry for all the wait and I appreciate anyone who is still sticking around.

I want to do something as a thank you but I’m not sure what. Finishing all of those AACs? A wallpaper? Fanservice? A FANSERVICE WALLPAPER IDK let me know what you want!
