god fuck shit

This morning I smelled a lovely burning rubber scent and my computer promptly shut off and wouldn’t turn back on. I took out my PSU and confirmed that’s what fried so no big deal – I went out and bought a new one. Now fans have power, hard drives have power but BIOS won’t flash, no USB devices are working and there’s no video. I’m about to FUCKING BUY another FUCKING MOTHERBOARD and if that doesn’t work my CPU is toast, too. I’m stuck for a long weekend with tons of shit to do that’s been rendered impossible, no mail and no idea how my (not backed up; I backed up on the slave drives LOLOLOL) data is doing.

I don’t have the money or time for this. I’m going fucking mental. Why the fuck is it always a Friday? And why the fuck does this keep happening to me?

[edit] Tested one of the drives, looks fine. Doesn’t look like the CPU burnt up either. At least this is just an expensive inconvenience and not quite disaster status.

[edit #2] Bought a new mobo – everything’s up and running again after 48 hours of madness. Going to try to get a page done for Monday!
