Hey guys,

So Alice was like “Hey Jessie, I don’t like Two Rooks and I don’t want to do it anymore, you want to do it?” and I was like “HEEECK YEAH!” She’s just so busy with all her commissions and now she got hired for another new project The End Of Furry Things, so go check out that if you want. But don’t really. Stay here because I’m about to blow your minds. Not only am I now drawing for Two Rooks, but I’ve given up my own comic to put all my time into this one! I will also be adding things, things this series has been seriously lacking up until now. “Oh man Jessie, I am so excited, you have to tell me. TELL ME NOW!” you’re thinking. So okay, I’ll tell you.

1. All pages will be drawn in chibi form. I know what you’re all thinking “MAN, FINALLY!” No webcomic is a REAL webcomic without some dang chibis, amirite? I mean, all this heavy contrast and full drawings and shit? That’s like real graphic novel shit. GET OFF THE WEB AND PUBLISH MORE BOOKS ALICE, and leave the webcomics to us chibi drawers! They’re just so much more expressive, faster and easier! It’s like, you REALLY know what everyone is thinking.

2. Every page will have fanservice. See that panel with Serus taking off his sweater? Yeah, I’m only getting STARTED friends. It is going to get juicier, and naked-er. So just you wait!

3. Lyov will get more airtime. I created Lyov and gave him to Alice because he belongs in Haven. Boy, was that a mistake! He hardly gets ANY time in panels! What’s that about? So he is getting a lot of more air time soon. I won’t go into full details now with that, but just for back story to catch you up, he is a suit (Juniper’s bodyguard) and also visits the orphanage. He’s known Serus since before the time period that Two Rooks takes place, and he is totally Serus’ BFF most of the time. But I won’t give you his life story now. You can find that in his spin off comic which will be coming out in November 2009 titled “Lyov: The Loneliest Russian”. If you have any questions regarding him, feel free to ask!

4. Don’t worry. This isn’t going to turn into BL. Sure, there are a lot of relationships that I’ll be exploring, but all relationships will get equal sexy time exposure. More man sex, more girl sex, more het sex. Basically, more sex! Because what crime novel is a crime novel without that juicy saucy stuff? I mean, TRY to keep sex out of James Bond stories! You can’t, because that would be so out of character people would be like “What is this? Starsky and Hutch? Where am I?” Mass confusion. So yeah. Expect a lot more make outs. Starting on the next page too! But I’m not going to spoil WHO! (TEE HEE)

I know how excited you all must be, probably as excited as I am. This is a new beginning for Two Rooks! A new sexy, chibified, Russian beginning that you have all been yearning for deep down inside. So enjoy and see you Friday!
